Tonight I finished a quick small - a Hardanger scissors fob! It's heart shaped and done on pink Hardanger fabric with some leftover Needle Necessities floss that I had (great project for using up left over fabric and floss!) I used pre-made cording and for the first time ever, inserted a 2006 quarter to give it weight. Isn't it cute? I'll be making more of these!

what a lovely fob, just gorgeous :)

ReplyDeleteIt's great that there are 2 more participants in our little SAL. I now Lelia's blog but I think, I have never visited Myrna's. Could you send me the link to hers?
Cathy, this is a terrific little project and ideal for those who'd like to try hardanger, but are a little scared by it. This design is small with no tricky needleweaving - a gentle introduction.
ReplyDeleteAll the hardanger wannatries out there - this is your project, lol!
Great job Cathy!
Beautiful, Cathy! I like the pretty pink on pink and the weight of putting a quarter in when finishing it was a great idea!
