I started a new project for the New Year - I'm actually hoping to finish this one rather quickly. A good friend at work had a baby girl in October and I've been wanting to stitch a birth sampler for her. This design (Gabrielle Rose) from La D Da seemed perfect. I think I made a pretty good start on it today.
I'm using Lakeside Linen 36 ct Light Examplar (man, is that nice to stitch on) and DMC threads, one thread over two.
Have a nice evening and a good day tomorrow!
That will be perfect for her! It's looks great already!
ReplyDeleteThats a lovely design. I like your taste in stitching so I will add you to my blog. xx
ReplyDeleteYou made a great start in the baby sampler. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteQuiet days at home are the BEST! And I love your start and as always Cathy it's for someone else...you are such a dear sweet lady!
ReplyDeleteHow special!!! Always great to have time to kick back and relax. Your La-d-da is awesome, so far. Wonderful stitching : )
ReplyDeleteDid you get a lot of snow? We got dumped with so much snow. I cooked & then we took a wintery walk outside. So quiet under the many layers of snow.
Great New Years start! I'm so glad many stitchers are following in this tradition!
ReplyDeleteA day stitching with your mom?? Wow, what could be better? And your start on GR is amazing!
