Thankfully, Lolo received her summer house exchange from me today! As you can see, I stitched this LHN design and finished it as a needlebook. The back side is personalized and dated. The inside is lined with dupioni silk and WDW wool. I hope Lolo enjoys using this to keep her needles.
This week I stitched and finished a biscornu and a needle roll - all for upcoming exchanges. I'm hoping to work on something for ME this weekend; sounds a bit selfish, I know. But I think I need to take a little break from commitment stitching!
Thanks for stopping by!
I LOVE this! I might have to try something similar!
ReplyDeleteNice job!!!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful.
ReplyDeleteby the way.. how do you get the corners so nice and square? Do you sew it together with a machine? Or handstitch the lining to it?
ReplyDeleteThat's so nice - what a lovely exchange gift!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Cathy!
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing wrong with selfish stitching. Although I must say your gift-stitching is stunning!
