Sorry folks for not being around much - busy time. In a few weeks I will be able to resume my regular blogging activities.
Just wanted to give you a quick glimpse of what I have been working on; pictures are not the best.
First up - I Sigh Not for Beauty...all I have left is the over one verse at the top and the over one personalization at the bottom. I'm making progress, but it's slow progress. Remember, I'm not a big fan of over one stitching!
I pulled out one of my WIPs this weekend. Remember this one? The Mystery Sampler from With Thy Needle and Thread. All I had done was the border. The alphabet is almost finished and I've made a good start on the tree. Lots of leaves need to be stitched yet!
Finally, this is a project that I am working on with others from Needlework Guild. I'll have to share the details in a later post. For now, you will have to try to guess what this is going to be!
So, there you have it. Gotta run...late for work!
Your WIP's are very inspiring! Thanks for sharing!

ReplyDeleteLove your progress on your projects so far! Thanks for sharing with us today.
ReplyDeleteI think you've made great progress! I'm not a fan of over one and never knew there was a way to prevent the stitches from disappearing into the next hole! Now that I know there's a trick, maybe next time won't be as frustrating, or better yet, not be a next time.
ReplyDeleteAll your projects are gorgeous! I Sigh Not for Beauty is almost done -- I love it!
ReplyDeleteEverything looks beautiful, especially I Sigh Not for Beauty. Just gorgeous! Are you starting a scissors keep in that next to last photo?
ReplyDeleteI just pulled my Mystery Sampler out a few weeks ago and just finished all those leaves...blah!! That's why I stopped stitching on it last year...lol
ReplyDeleteHugs, Shar
Beautiful WIPs! Happy stitching!
ReplyDeleteYour WIPs are beautiful! I'm glad you aren't so busy that you can't do some stitching in between all the madness : )
ReplyDeleteBeautiful stitching progress! I hope things calm down for you soon.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes.
I Sigh Not is beautiful Cathy! I'm not a big fan of over one either so my progress would be slow as well.
ReplyDeleteI have yet to start my Mystery Sampler. I promised a friend to stitch this one for her but I haven't ever stitched on 35ct and I'm nervous about starting it. Sooner or later!
Wow, Du stickst wunderschöne Sachen.
ReplyDeleteLiebe Grüße Grit from Germany
