On Friday, I found the perfect solution...Michael's had this four foot realistic looking tree on sale for $20. It fits on top of our table that sits in front of the window (no more wagging tails!) It was lightweight, easy to put together, and the perfect size to hold many of my favorite handmade ornaments.

Many of these ornaments were made by stitching friends. Years ago, I participated in several ornament exchanges. So many of these ornaments were stitched and finished by someone special. I've made a few of them too!

Here are some of my favorites.

Such good memories!

What a beautiful solution! Love the many ornament ... what treasure!
ReplyDeleteThat is exactly what we do some years. We have a 4 foot one on a table in front of the window, or we will put up the 6 foot one some times too. Still have all three kids living here. They miss the whole deal. ;)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful ornaments and the tree looks fantastic.
ReplyDeleteOhhh Cathy, what a pretty tree. You have some pretty ornamentstoo.
ReplyDeleteI think that is a great solution, I am thinking about getting a small table top tree. Our 13 year old WESTIE is blind and I hate to put up the tree because that means re arranging the living room and it would really throw him off.
Wishing you a happy Sunday
A lovely tree. So special to have beautiful ornaments by friends!
ReplyDeleteYour tree looks great and your solution perfect. Enjoy it!
