First Finish for 2007!

As promised, here's a picture of peaches. I had stitched all but the large cat and the border last fall, so this was quite easy to finish the other night. Not sure if I'll make this into a little pillow or a pinkeep - it's going into the finishing pile for now.

LHN/CC Peaches

I also worked on DT Game Board Sampler today. I hope to stitch two squares per week. Today I stitched the little robin and the house to the left. A group of us have a SAL going - let me know if you would like to join us!

The Drawn Thread - Game Board Sampler

Planning to work on my SBEBB house exhange piece tonight. Today I mailed the Winter Quaker exchange piece and my first Pay It Forward. Forgot to take a picture of the Pay It Forward piece!! Once it is received, perhaps the recipient will post a picture on her blog!

Off to stitch some more. Have a great evening!

Peaches is awesome! I haven't purchased any of these yet but I need to, they are so cute. A friend of mine is also working on the game board. It is a fantastic piece. Ann.

Love Peaches, a friend stitched it for a shop model and the little whiskers are so cute. Yours colors came out great in the photo. Good Luck with the game board SAL and your exchange project. Happy Stitching, CJ

What a cute finish, Cathy! And good for you getting a PIF out already. I haven't started mine, but have thought a lot about them.

oh, Peaches is so sweet! What cutie cats. Luv your gameboard -- I have a house block 'under construction' LOL.

I look forward to seeing the house exchange pieces [when it is time to reveal] and your Pay it Forward gift. Your stitching & finishing are awesome!

This is lovely and IMHO I think it would look great as a fun pinkeep :-)

Congratulations on your first finish Cathy - you're off to a good start. My sampler gameboard is being done as an RR - I'm anxious to get it back to see how it looks! I've always loved that pattern - are you framing yours for the wall or actually using a gameboard? I'm going for the framing and putting all my motifs facing upright.
