Some of the mail has really been traveling slowly, but today the other exchange that I've been concerned about arrived at its destination. Sandra was my partner on the HoE Summer Quaker exchange. I stitched Quaker Blackbird from Little By Little and finished it as a pinkeep for her. I really like this design and think I'm going to have to stitch it again for myself.
My picture is not so good (too dark) - to see a better picture go here.
Saras asked if the needlebook in my previous post was finished by hand or by machine -- it's all handstitching. I use a ladder stitch to stitch front to back so that my stitches are invisible.
I hope everyone is having a good week. Keep on stitching!

This is a very nice piece for your exchange.
This is absolutely gorgeous pinkeep!!
Your finishing is so beautiful!
I love this design, too!
Such a lovely design this is!
well no wonder yours looks so much nicer than mine do! I need to learn the ladder stitch! Is it hard?
What a lovely pinkeep! I've become quite taken by some of the Little by Little quakers lately, this is another one I shall have to get, I think.
Lovely pin keep Cathy. The needlebook in your previous post though, is simply beautiful! Your finishing is exquisite!
That's a pretty pinkeep you stitched up for Sandra
This pinkeep is so beautiful. I have the pattern as well and will pull it out. It's all kitted up and now after seeing yours I have to start mine, too. Thanks for enabling, lol.
Lovely pinkeep .... and a pretty needlecase in your previos post.
I just bought this pattern, so it's wonderful to see your finish. Your pinkeep is positively lovely! Don't blame you for wanting to stitch one to keep next time.
This is very beautiful - now I need to find the pattern!
Oh, Cathy, it's beautiful!
Gorgeous finish. I don't suppose we can talk you into a photo tutorial?
