Dirty Trick

Yes, Mother Nature played a dirty trick on us last night. We woke up to find snow everywhere! The pictures below are of our deck and the trees behind. I think we got about two inches of the fluffy white stuff. Can't complain, other parts of Minnesota have had it worse!

I can now show you a picture of the biscornu I sent out for the Tiny Treasures exchange. It went to Patti in the U.K. This was my first experience stitching on black!

Your biscornu looks great, I love the effect of the colours on the black fabric.

Your biscornu is beautiful! Great job with both stitching and finishing! I particularly love those little heart buttons in the middle! I can't imagine getting any snow...especially in April...but then again, in Texas it was 80 yesterday!

Cathy,
I hadn't looked outside yet--YUCK! I didn't know it snowed, or that it was going to snow. Will it ever end.

Your biscornu is beautiful. The button you chose is perfect.

Have a great day!

It has been ages since I have lived in a snowy region. I miss it sometimes but I get my fix from pictures like these :)

The Biscornu turned out great.

I think it is one of the best exchanges I have ever had and it has really made me want to do more of them. Thank you so much - I really can't thank you enough. Lots and lots of Love Patti xxx

P.S. Hasn't anyone told your weatherman that it's April and supposed to be Spring!

Beautiful biscornu. And I hope you'll get spring now soon. It's a bit late for snow isn't it?

You did such a beautiful job on this biscornu. I saw this on Patti's blog too! Wonderful job. I think your snow is coming our way here in Michigan. 2 to 4 inches predicted for tonight and tomorrow. I hope that's the last of it!

I know that the snow is no longer welcome, but I am always facinated by snow pictures. I just wish we could get some some where we live.

Your biscornu is beautiful, I love the colours on the black.

Mother Nature does not play fair!! That nasty white stuff needs to leave us alone. We haven't had snow here, but up until this weekend, winter was still grasping at us with cooler temps and generally gray, rainy, blustery days.

I heart your little biscornu. I'm sure Patti is thrilled. :)

Black & White post!!
The White snow is so beautiful - I have never seen anything so pretty but I do wonder if I could cope with the cold :)
The Black fabric on your biscornu made a STUNNING result - amazing finish, well done :)

I can't even look at those snow pictures without shivering! All I can say is, "I'm so sorry," and, "I'm soo glad I live in FL!" On another topic... that little biscornu is beautiful. Patti surely must adore it. Hugs, Deb
