The weekend is here and we find ourselves smack dab in the middle of a snowstorm! It started snowing at about 11pm last night and by 8am this morning we had about six inches of that fluffy white stuff on the ground. It's going to continue to snow throughout the day - we're expecting 12 inches or more when all is said and done. I'm glad that I don't have to go anywhere today!
This is Maggie, our yellow lab/golden retriever mix. She's keeping an eye on the front yard. You can kind of see where the road should be - it was plowed once already, really early this morning.
This is a picture off the deck on the back side of the house. The wind has really picked up and it is blowing the snow around like crazy. My DH shoveled the deck once already, but the snow is starting to accumulate again.
I'm going to take advantage of this time at home today to catch up on laundry and cleaning and hopefully squeeze in some stitching!
Watch for another post later -- I received a delightful package in the mail yesterday from my friend Jill!

Wow Cathy, that is some snow. Just think of all that great stitching time though.
Marlene said we could send the snow back to the UK with her! When you're done with this storm I get it! Thanks for sharing -- not! Still sunny and warm for now!
Hope you get much accomplished today!

Oh my! All that snow! It's so early in the season and everyone is getting hit. Stay home and enjoy the view! Stitch away the day. :D
Love the pic with dog watching out!
We had a dusting, but nothing like what you're getting hit with. Does Maggie love the snow? Our golden loved the snow...this past Thursday it was a year that she's been gone...she's still missed terribly.
That is a lot of snow! Maggie looks fascinated by it :) Stay warm and enjoy some peaceful stitching.
