My Focus This Week

This work in progress is very close to being finished, so I've decided to give it my full attention this week.

Hillside School of Handworke from Hillside Samplings

It's a bit wrinkled, but you get the idea.  All that's left is the inside border, the personalization in the middle section (above the roof of the house), and the brickwork (backstitching - ugh!)

Many of you are going to notice the date - 2012.  I had good intentions to finish this piece last year.  Will the stitching police come get me if I decide to leave the date and don't change it to 2013?

Enjoy your day!

I love this one! Just gorgeous! You are so close to a finish too! I don't think the stitching police will mind if you keep 2012 on it. lol!

This is lovely looking forward to seeing the finish. Fyi, the police will probably let you off with just a warning. ;-) CJ in OK

Your sampler looks wonderful. (I think I have this one somewhere.)

I don't think the date matters....you stitched most of it in 2012...besides I fired all those "stitching police".

Wow, that is just beautiful, Cathy! Will you remember in 10 years that you didn't actually finish it in 2012, anyway? Leave it be!

That is such a beautiful sampler. I would leave the date alone!

If you did most of the work in 2012 why not leave it in.

It is a beautiful sampler Cathy.

I certainly hope there are no stitching police! I did the same with one of my finishes I ended up carrying over. After all the majority of it was stitched in 2012.
It looks great!
