Needlework at the State Fair

We went to the Minnesota State Fair today. Thank goodness it was a cooler day!

One of my first stops at the Fair is the Creative Activities building where all the needlework is displayed. A few of these pictures are from the Senior Building; there is needlework on display there too. Lots to see; this is just a small sampling!

Some Hardanger...

Some handmade lace...most of these pieces are tatted...

And a few other pieces that I thought were especially nice...

Of course, one of my favorite needle artists can also be found at the Fair. Recognize her?

My mom demonstrated tatting 9 out of the last 11 days! She loves the Fair!

Your Mom's work is gorgeous! I am so honored to have some.

Hey, did you of Mom enter any of your work in the Fair?
I would LOVE to have a local fair to enter in. I know Vonna enters, and wins (no surprise there), you should too.
