I promise to iron before I post the finish! Need to stitch the buds on the bottom row of rose bushes and then personalize the piece with initials and a name at the top. This is a gift for my best friend from high school and she has been patiently waiting for me to finish it. The design is from Carriage House Samplings and it is called Wild Roses. Fingers crossed I will be able to finish this yet tonight.
There's no shortage of projects for me to work on next, but I succumbed to the excitement on Facebook and joined the Snooty Parrot Society. Many started stitching on January 1, but my supplies just arrived this past week. I will probably get started tomorrow while watching the Super Bowl.
I've got a pot of ham and bean soup cooking on the stove and it smells delicious. Life is good!

Wild roses is beautiful! We made ham and bean yesterday.
Congrats on your near finish of Wild Roses. I have that one started and keep setting aside because the chart is so danged small!! Need to figure out how to get it done!! I am also in the FB group doing the Snooty Parrots and a lot of us are stitching by the schedule so you are not too far behind. Probably can catch up the first part tomorrow during the game!! Laura
