Tonight was our monthly guild meeting for the "evening counted thread" group. We are starting to work on a new project as a group. Pardon the poor picture...
This Catherine Theron project was made available to guilds as a group project. Looking forward to stitching and finishing it over the next few months. Catherine Theron will be at our guild retreat later this summer.
Then I provided each member in attendance one of these:
The photo is misbehaving, but you get the idea. It's a three inch embroidery hoop. I bet you're wondering what they are going to do with it. Guess you'll have to keep reading my blog to find out!

I love any Quaker design! I'll keep watching to see what happens with the little hoop.
That's a lovely project from Catherine Theron. You have me very curious about the embroidery hoop!
Some of our guild members took advantage of this offer too. I didn't because I am supposed to be stitching form my stash. I hope I won't regret not getting this!! Laura
Can't wait to see what you're up to, Cathy!!
I love the Quaker design. I'm going to go out on a limb and say the hoop is to make an ORT container... :)
I too love any Quaker project. Beautiful new project. I am looking forward to seeing what you have planned for the hoop.
love Annette
