Seeing Green

It's a little early to celebrate St. Patrick's Day, but I have nothing else to post tonight...My mom asked me to make these green pincushions for her. Hope you like them Shannon.

I was in trouble for not including some pretty pins....you never want to be in trouble with my mother!

These pincushions were made for me to give to my my friend Mary, who's birthday is on St Patrick's day. They are absolutely lovely. Mary does beautiful precision hand work and quilting herself, so I know she will treasure the beautiful work both you and your mom do. What a grand surprise when your mom included one for me as well. I have a St Patrick's day birthday also! I added pretty pearly green, white, and purple pins that looked darling with them. I promised your mom and I don't want her mad at me! I love you mom, she is a hoot and a gift. I think the world of you bother too, so I am sure we would be fast friends. Thank you so much to you and "Mavis'. The things you create are amazing and beautiful! Shannan

I use mine all the time. it is behind my sewing machine & is just perfect for those long pins with glass heads.

The smaller one in my tatting tin as I have fewer pins with tatting!

Lovely in green
