After our lunch we learned more about one of the founding members of our guild. Here are some of the needlework pieces she brought with for us to see.
This foot rest was made by her grandmother in the late 1800s...stitched mostly with beads...what a treasure!
It was a delightful afternoon!

Exquisite! The beaded footstool is gorgeous - can't imagine ever actually using as a footrest!
