I Should be Stitching...

...but I'm kind of tired tonight. Busy work week.

I stopped to visit my Mom (aka Mad Tatter) tonight after work. She had made a delicious pork roast and some delicious noodles.

Here's her latest tatting finish; this is a gift for the choir director at her church.

My Mom used to do huck embroidery. I bet this towel is 60 years old...

And, just in case you wanted to see what a tatters "tatting nook" looks like, this is her table next to her comfy chair.

Phone....check.

Balls of thread...check.

Scissors (note the Ginghers!)...check.

Tatting shuttle...check.

Other assorted supplies...check.

TV clicker...check

Blue Blood episodes notes...check.

Gotta love my Mom.

I'm always amazed by your mom's creations! How wonderful it is that she's still doing such fine and beautiful work. I have to say, her work area looks a lot like mine with slightly different tools! Have a great weekend, Cathy!
