It's September!

Here we are, it's the fifth of September and I haven't posted yet!

Let's start with a stitching update. I continue to stitch away on All Creatures Great and Small by Barbara Ana. Have made great progress!




Had a great weekend. We went to the Minnesota State Fair yesterday, where everything comes on a stick!




Sampled lots of treats including our usual state fair food - Pronto Pup, Sweet Martha's Cookies, and a Dairy Building Malt. The parade was fun as always. The U of M Marching band performed...




There are the usual characters in the parade and out and about on the fair grounds....














The needlework in the Creative Activities building was a treat to look at. Here are some of my favorites.

Thanks for sharing the handwork pretties from the fair - they're all wonderful, but that first hardanger piece is just incredible!

Your state fair looks like so much fun! I hear they broke attendance records this year.
