It’s All About the Weather

I’m at Stitchville’s Spring Fling this weekend.  Jeanette Douglas is our guest teacher.  We’re working on a wonderful project which I will share more about later.  For now though, I must tell you that the big topic of conversation is the weather.  We are in the midst of a blizzard!

At last year’s Spring Fling, we were painting and waxing frames on this patio!  Hard to believe it is Spring, right?

Cathy, I remember that kind of weather very well, especially from April 2013 just a few months before I retired from Walgreen's in St.Paul. We had so much snow and ice that there were times I didn't think I'd make it across the parking lot at work. Moved south to Kentucky in 2016 and have to admit I don't miss the snow even a tiny bit. Enjoy reading your blog and envy the amount of stitching you do even though you put so many hours in at work. My best to you and the mad tatter.

OMG Cathy--how crazy....but...what better place to be than snowed in with a bunch of like minded stitchers...wish I was there! I know you're having a blast!

I must have candy on the brain since picture #2 reminds me of marshmallows or meringue. I’m thrilled you are retreating and hope the weather just makes a more endearing memory. Judy

yes I heard or saw something on FB about the snow at the Stitchville event. WOW! must be because it's very rare to have 50's here in the deep south in mid April. I love it !!!! Your recent finishes are really neat. I love the PTP you chose for the Matters Choice. Hope you enjoy the retreat in spite of the snow. Mel
