Annemarie's Neighborhood RR

Last night, I finished up my portion of the stitching on Annemarie's neighborhood RR. Annemarie didn't map out specific blocks or anything, she didn't want us to feel too restricted. She wasn't even concerned about getting a house from everyone - houses were optional. Annemarie sent a palette of DMC fibers and a list of her favorite designers. After reviewing her instructions I knew exactly what I wanted to stitch...

My contribution is a design from La D Da called Swing Bunny. The flowers kind of match the flower in the square below and it includes a little bunny and a bird in the tree. I think this design is so cute.

Now after stitching it, there was an empty space to the right, between what I stitched and Kathy A's tulips and tower. Rather than leaving this for An to fill, I decided to stitch this little pot of flowers and bird from Prairie Schooler. I think it looks okay - I hope An likes it!

Working on the finishing for my HoE Prairie Schooler exchange tonight and hope to start stitching for the SBEBB Think Pink exchange!

That's super cute, Cathy! I bet An loves it. I love the way you filled in the space and every neighborhood should have flowers and children playing!
