Friday's Finishing Frenzy

No Black Friday shopping for me! I don't like navigating lines or crowds, so I stayed home and enjoyed a quiet day and got some finishing going. Here's a picture of the various projects that I worked on. Some of the projects are finished or close to finished; others still need to be completed.

I made a couple more pincushions with my mother's tatting. She wants to include these in the boutique that she will be selling at next weekend. I also put some of her tatting in those plastic coasters that you can find at Michael's or JoAnn's.

I also had some hardanger that just needed to be pressed and hangers added to the ornaments.

Remember this ornament from last year? I still had some of the fabric and finishing supplies left so I stitched up a few more -- these aren't finished yet, but at least they are mounted on the mat board.

More cross stitch ornaments mounted on mat board and waiting for ribbon and beads.

I'll post photos of the finished product once I have some of these finishes finished!

Hope you are having a nice weekend. Happy Stitching!

You were a busy girl! Everything looks fabulous! I only ran to Joann's on Friday. Not a fan of the large crowds either. Hope to see you on the 16th!

Cute finishes Cathy!!!Like you, I didn't get out on Black Friday...living in a tourist area, there are so many out of towners here, especially over the holidays, so it just invites craziness....no thanks! I hope to post a few of my weekend finishes soon also....Nice job as usual, Faye

I love all the different finishes that you have, and I really like the tatting. Someday I will learn how to do that - it is on my bucket list.

Well aren't you a busy little bee. I had to work on Friday and Saturday. I don't do crowds and shopping. Too stressful for me. I get the same deals when I shop after anyways. I see your pin cushion from the retreat in the corner of your picture and now I want to go stitch it. It tuned out cute and love your ornaments. I need to get busy!

Excellent finishes! You had a very productive day.
Black Friday has now made it's way north into Canada and there was no way I was dealing with all those crowds.

Wow, you certainly have been busy with finishing. I'm hoping to have a day like that myself sometime soon.
We don't have Black Friday here in the UK, we rely on internet shopping too much!
Best wishes and happy stitching to you.
