Making Progress and a Book

Just a quick post....

I'm making progress on my Quaker hornbook stitching. I'm hopeful that I will finish the stitching this weekend so I can finish it. I want to test out the finishing on my own hornbook so that I can help others at our next guild meeting.

And....I can't remember if I read about this book on a blog or on Facebook, but I found a copy of it on Amazon for $7 plus shipping. It's in mint condition and I think I will enjoy reading it!

Hope your week is going well. I'm going to keep plugging along!

How much fun to see your progress on your hornbook. I hope you'll send me some photos when you do the assembly workshop with your guild members.

Wow--what a find you made on that lovely sampler book. Incredible price! I believe that many of Mary Jaene's samplers were sold at auction earlier this year.

you have inspired me to buy a horn book and make one for myself. Very clever indeed.
