My Mother used to tat and I always wanted to learn but it was like teaching a blind person. I just couldn't get it. I do not have any of her tatting except for a piece abut 4 inches long where she was starting to make something. It was all lost in a Tornado along with their home. She never was able to tat again because of RA. Tell your mother her work is beautiful. Sarah
