Tonight I started a new project. This has been in my stash waiting to be stitched for at least 2 or 3 years. Can you guess which design I'm stitching? It's going to be a quick finish; I'm about a third of the way done. Lots of counting with this one!
And, please allow me to post one more photo of "Lo" - I finally figured out what I needed to do to get a better photo that more accurately portrays the color of the linen.
Big winter storm expected to slam into Minnesota tomorrow. We're supposed to get 3 - 6 inches of snow in the metro; some places in the state may see as much as 8 inches. I am so ready for winter to go away! Spring, where are you?

Red Reindeer by Birds of a Feather. I've got this one! I love it. Great start Cathy! And, I'm glad you were able to get a pic up of the true color of your "Lo" fabric. It really is beautiful.
Yup. I was guessing the same BOAF sampler too. I haven't stitched it though. It looks like such fun.
I think the spring is down here in NC! It's been 80 for the past two days. All pear trees have pretty white blossoms one them! Course it's supposed to go back to 40's this weekend! Hope those trees hang in there!
I love your LO sampler! The colors are so wonderful. Not a clue what your new start is...
Hugs, Simone
Oh, that is a beautiful new start and lovely picture of your latest finish!
Take care with all that incoming snow. Where is spring??
I look forward to seeing your new start finished up as I'm not familiar with the design. Lo is so beautiful! Not more snow?!
I'll chime in on the guess of BOAF. The linen for "Lo" is very nice. Suits the project perfectly!
We've had a taste of spring this past week, so I know it's out there. Can't get here soon enough for me!
BOAF...this one is in my stash too...calling to me lately even... Beautiful progress!
Oh, I like it!! Pretty new start! Nice color on your Lo linen too. Around us spring can't make up its mind to come either. We're sort of there, but only sort of!
Beautiful new picture, wow, it looked good before and now it's even more stunning! Nice new start too.
Well, I wasn't sure of the pattern, but now that others have mentioned it, I know what it is. And I'm still drooling over your "Lo".

Your LHaR is fabulous! I'm working at it a little each week.
Your projects look wonderful! You are a fast stitcher! I have some cross stitch pieces that are still waiting for me to get them framed, LOL!
Lovely new start Cathy
What a great new start this is. And the second picture of LO is wonderful. It's such a great finish.
Hmm, Spring hasn't come here either. It has been snowing and melting and snowing since the beginning of March here. I hope that snow storm will only be a weak one.
Lo How a Rose looks wonderful, and I love your fabric choice!!
"Lo" is amazing! Beautiful finish! and I'm loving this new start!!

Hi Cathy,
I love your "Lo, How a Rose" samplar - so much so that I had to order the book. But, while it's on the way here (to WI)I'm wondering if you would share the stitch count and the fibers called for? I would like to pick a fabric piece at my LNS but I don't want to do it on a guess. Thank you so much!! Teri Jacobi

Hi Cathy
Your finish of Lo, How a Rose is gorgeous - so much so that I had to jump on the bandwagon of those buying the book for the pattern!! In advance of my book arriving, I would like to pick out the fabric I'd like to do it on. Would you mind sharing the stitch count and the fiber colors/numbers called for? Can you tell I'm anxious to get started?! Thank you so much.
