I've been in a bit of a slump lately; but I did finish my ornament for Amy (May's recipient!) this week. As soon as she receives it, I will post photos.
I thought some of you might appreciate seeing some of the tatting I received from my mother for Mother's Day. She tatted this purple heart and this multi colored bookmark. She said that the thread used for the bookmark is called "jelly bean." As you can see, she's into using buttons with her tatting!
Spent some time yesterday and today cleaning through my stash. Ugh! I've posted a list of some patterns that I am willing to trade or sell. Many of them have never been used; a few of them are gently used. Shoot me an email if you are interested. The list is posted here.
Hope you all are having a great weekend.

Lovely tatting work! I've never tried it but I can remember my mother doing it when I was younger.
Nice work! For being in a slump you came up with some nice tatting! :)
I love the tatting! I too would love to learn how to do this. Beautiful!
Beautiful tatting work! I've never tried - it seemed intimidating. And I hear you on cleaning out stash - I'm there now - it's overwhelming!!
DUH!!! You said your Mother tatted it for you...sorry about the earlier comment, LOL! That is so sweet of her to tat that for you! :)
Lovely tatting
Your mother does beautiful work indeed. I love the fact that she is into buttons because both look fantastic with them!
I hope you'll be over your slump soon. They do sneak up on a person, don't they?

Your tatting pressies is lovely! and I do so love the colours and buttons your Mom used. My dear Mom-in-law thought me some tatting but I only have trying and testing pieces that needs to go in the bin :-)

Very nice tatted pieces. Very special colours indeed, I love the result.
I just learned how to tat a couple of months ago and I just love these. I've never seen buttons used in tatting - such a neat idea.
You're so lucky to have someone who can show you how to do this beautiful craft.
