Final Post for 2009

Su has invited everyone to join her end of the year "party" and so I thought I would join in the fun. Please visit Su's blog for a list of other stitchers who are participating!

Much of my stitching in 2009 was for exchanges; I keep trying to cut back, but they are so darn much fun that I can't help myself! We'll see if I can resist some of the temptation in 2010. It's such a joy to connect with others around the world who share a passion for needlework!

Here are some of my other finishes in 2009. Thanks for stopping by and Happy New Year!

Quaker Alphabet (La D Da)

Petites Lettres Rouge (Blackbird Designs)

Dutch Strawberries (Goode Huswife)

Three Crows (Goode Huswife)

Glory Fob (Shepherd's Bush)

Heart of America (Little House Needleworks)

Friendship Sampler (Birds of a Feather)

Traveling Stitcher (Little House Needleworks)

Special Delivery (Blackbird Designs)

Peace (Mary Garry)

Earth Sampler (Primitive Needle)

Beautiful finishes, Cathy. Your work is indeed an inspiration. I made a promise to myself to set more time aside to do more x-stitching in 2010.

All the best to you and yours in 2010.

Gorgeous finishes Cathy :) We stitched 3 of the same designs last year (Earth Sampler and the two GHs) - such similar tastes!

So many lovely finishes. There isn't a single one that I wouldn't stitch myself. Congratulations!
What you say about exchnages is exactly how I feel about them. I cut back on the number tremendously (from over 20 to 8) and felt completely happy with it. So I made time for my own stitching and stayed in touch with many stitchers around the world, which I love.
Wishing you and your family all the best for 2010.
