On the Home Stretch

Hello stitching buddies! How's your weekend going? We are having some beautiful fall weather here in Minnesota this weekend. Hope that wherever you are it's beautiful there too!

I have a progress picture to share with you -- I've been working on This is the Day (Hands to Work, Just Cross Stitch magazine, February 2009). On the home stretch now. Just have to finish the alphabet at the top, the personalization in the box and do the filling stitches. Doesn't she look gorgeous? Rich colors!

As with my other posts this month, I want to include something pink. Just a reminder that October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. A few weeks ago when Joan and I were out gallavanting around town we stopped at a bead store. I bought this pin and the beads/charm and then assembled it myself!

Enjoy the rest of your day. Have a good week. Happy Stitching!

This is a truly lovely piece--I have the mag in my stash and I keep thinking and thinking of how I want to stitch it...I think I want to do only a limited section. :)

This is such a gorgeous sampler. I bought the magazine back when it first came out because I had to have it, but ... I haven't stitched it yet. Shame on me! Love your beautiful pin, too!

I am sooo behind on my blog comments, which I suppose has mixed blessings, since that means I get to drool over multiple posts of yours! ;) WOW!!!! You really have been whipping out some beautiful stuff. I love your Three Crows! I love crows--don't know why--but I do. Your BBD Autumn Song looks great, too. I love your Jenny Bean start. I have that as a WIP and oh my gosh, what a fun sampler. I'm Jenny Bean addicted now--I want to stitch her samplers and those of her friends. Great job on your Hands to Work sampler, too. I love the colors in it! It was a fun stitch for me, too. Great job on the pin!

I like your Pink pin...very crafty.
FYI: got off the BBD wait list and will be attending the class at 3 stitches tomorrow ~ Yahoo! Would be so much nicer if you were in the class as well. :)
