Merry Christmas 2010!

Hello stitching friends - Merry Christmas to all! I've been quiet of late - not much stitching going on; too busy preparing for the Christmas holiday.

We have had one of our snowiest Decembers on record here in Minnesota. A fresh blanket of fluffy white stuff fell during the night; I think we got about five more inches. The trees in the picture above are heavy laden with snow.

As you can see, our mailbox is almost buried!

Poor Zeta, our chocolate lab, can barely navigate the snow in the front yard! The snow is about three or four feet deep in some places!

The kids are out shoveling the driveway and the sidewalk this morning; they also took care of a neighbor's driveway - it's a heavy job, but they are having fun. DD and our yellow lab Maggie were playing in the snow!

Thanks for stopping by - wishing you and yours a joyous Christmas!

We have been following the snowfall up your way as my SIL and others live in the Mnpls area. It's beautiful to look at as long as you don't have to shovel it and drive in it! Have a great holiday season Cathy and a wonderfully stitch-y new year!

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas. We're buried in the white stuff in my little corner of Iowa too... you can imagine how hard it is for my stubby legged Corgis to navigate.

Merry Christmas, Cathy! The tatted ornaments in your blog header are simply gorgeous.

That is a lot of snow! It is snowing here today, thankfully just a few inches. I'll take inches vs. feet...
