A Million Things

There are a million things I could work on, but lately I've been drawn to the 1837 Crown Sampler from Plum Street Samplers. The colors in this picture aren't particularly accurate. I'm stitching it on 40 ct. Vintage Light Examplar with the alternate color palette that Paulette had shared on her blog. I love stitching words and letters, so I stitched the verse in the middle first. Now I have lots of vines, flowers, and other motifs to stitch!

Hope you had a nice weekend. It went by so fast!

You've gotten a lot accomplished--that's a lot of letters!

I just finished reading your blog start to finish and have enjoyed it so much! I love those little cupcakes and tarts that you make with your mothers tatting, I hope I spelled that right. I would love to buy one, you should open an etsy shop and sell them.
And I have truly enjoyed learning about Hovej embroidery, it is beautiful!
