February

It's hard to believe that it is February already. I had hoped to sneak in one more post before the end of January, but ran out of time. At any rate, I think I did a pretty good job of posting regularly. Will try to do the same in February.

Despite a busy weekend, I managed to visit my LNS twice this weekend. The last Friday night of the month the shop hosts a Stitch-In. I don't go very often because I don't like driving home so late at night, but I had such a busy week at work that I figured I had earned it.

While there I worked on The Crown Sampler from Plum Street Samplers. I added the border on the left.

We had a delicious treat at the Stitch-In. This delectable dessert was called Chocolate Brownie Trifle. What a treat!

Of course I had to return today for the SuperBowl sale. There were a lot of stitchers there, you had to be a bit patient when looking at the fibers and the linens. Everyone was so happy. It was great fun seeing and visiting with stitching friends.

This was my favorite purchase - Stitcher's Resolution from Heartstring Samplery. The linen is 35 count Antique Lambswool. The fiber colors seem to pop on it!

Downtown Abbey or the Super Bowl? I'm going to switch back and forth between both!

Happy Stitching!

Downtown Abby or Superbowl? How about both? Some super good things happened at the Abby--the Superbowl was a good game right up to very end

Don't you just love it when there's a big sale on stitching or even any kind of crafting supply store. No one is ever in a rush, everything is so friendly, even the line up at the cash registers are pleasant. Us Stitching/Crafting people are some of the best people in the world!

Nice work on The Crown Sampler.

I have become a fan of Heartstring Samplery designs, and her photography!

We should all live by the words in Stitcher's Resolution. :-)
