I enjoyed stitching this sampler so much that I am almost feeling sad that the journey is over! This is Excursion #2 from Amy Mitten's series "From Around the World Every 80 Days." This sampler is called Vierlande and it was designed in the style of samplers stitched between 1790 and 1860 in an area located southeast of Hamburg, Germany.
Of course, I think it was enjoyable because only one thread color was used!
I now have two stamps in my passport: Scotland and Vierlande!

This finish is so beautiful. I agree that one color is fun to do sometimes and it also makes for a stunning finish. How will you finish it?
Just beautiful! As I said before, it seems to me a bit like a Quaker. Very very pretty.
Congratulations on finishing #2 of this gorgeous series.
It's fun traveling with you!!!
Absolutely beautiful!! Looking forward to seeing what comes next!
Love it! Can't wait to see where you go next!
