Happy New Year!

Happy 2019!

I opted not to start a new project today.  Instead, I decided to continue stitching on a piece I started back in October.  It’s called Wild Roses and it is from Carriage House Samplings.

I stitched this once before as a gift for a friend.  This time, I’m stitching it for me.  It will be personalized, but I have to work all of that out yet.

The linen is a pretty golden yellow with very subtle hints of an orangey pink here and there.  It is very pretty.

Wishing you peace and many hours of stitching in the new year!

I love the color of the fabric! I have a piece to stitch for one of the high school girls. I guess I should get to it!

I love this chart... and it might just have to be a "must stitch from stash" for 2019!! Thanks for the reminder!

I purchased this pattern not long ago. Your spot on with the fabric choice, Kathy. It really does need something warm with a little mottling. I’m not sure if I’ll get to Wild Roses this year, but I’m really looking forward to when I do. 😊 Judy
