It's Finished!

Isn't it adorable? I almost like this design better than the first one. This is the Miniature Garden Game Board, a freebie from LHN. I stitched it on 32 count Belfast Light Mocha.

When I stitched the Miniature Hometown Game Board earlier this summer I used a 28 count linen, so that one is slightly larger. I may have to stitch that one again because I really like the smaller size. (See my post on September 22 for a picture of that design.)

Any thoughts on finishing???

Hi - first off here is my addresses chatterton@planet.nl. If you need my snail mail address, just email me. Thanks a lot for sharing the freebies!

As for finishing, I've seen some gameboards actually finished as real, usable gameboards. I'm not sure if I have the skill to try that myself, but some professional framers do it, too. I would like to try it myself with a smaller one first, and learn from my mistakes :-).

THis is an absolute cutie.
I like Karen's idea of finishing it as a real gameboard.

That's a very cute gameboard and to finish it as a travel gameboard like Karen said, is a wonderful idea.

looks great Cathy! I am stitching the first LHN gameboard and have purchased a small tray from Sudberry House to finish it. I doubt it will be used as an actual gameboard but I plan to display it on my coffee table and maybe even use it as a tray! It's actually a Christmas gift for my husband so he might have other ideas!
