I am finding your Randje so interesting and I'm keeping up with all your progress. I have a wide piece of banding, not nearly as long as yours, but I may make a 'shorter version' (one day!)... Happy Thanksgiving!
Cathy, I forgot to ask in my previous comment - what is the name of the place you went for your needlework retreat and it's location? I looked for 'the Ranch' in Range, WI and had no luck. It looks like you all had a great time there.
I was wondering why you stitch horizontal lines before cross stitching. Is this just to make it easier to stay on a perfectly straight line or are you making the design up as you go? Do you sew the lines with a wide machine baste or do it by hand? This is interesting and must help you quite a bit. Thanks in advance for sharing all your beautiful work. Jan
