Stitch Camp Day One

Today’s classes began with Brenda Gervais from With Thy Needle and Thread. She designed a lovely sampler for us titled “At Home.” She incorporated things that reminded her of the words “country”, “sampler”, “spring”, and “green.” (Sorry for the glare in the glass.)

We were also gifted this pattern from Brenda titled “A Girl in Her Garden”. It will make a sweet drum!

This afternoon’s class was with Linda Lautenschlager of Chessie and Me. She too designed a sampler, this one a patriotic theme and styled after a typical Rhode Island sampler.

This pincushion pattern and supplies was also available for purchase by the retreat attendees.

Another day of stitching bliss ahead!

I can't wait to see what goodies Brenda Gervais brings to the Dyeing to Stitch retreat in Virginia Beach in Oct. Yours are so pretty. I know you had fun. My friend went to the Attic Needlework last week and she's meeting me in Oct. Stitchers are the best.
