Merry Christmas

Dear friends,

Wishing you the magic of Christmas and the gift of love...have a wonderful holiday!

I promise to be back in full force (stitching and blogging) after this weekend! My gifts are all wrapped, but I'm hoping to fit in some baking yet tomorrow. We'll see if that works out. Saturday and Sunday will be spent celebrating the holiday with family. Monday will be a day of rest!

Thank you for your friendship - it's been great sharing my love of stitching with all of you. I have appreciated your words of encouragement throughout the past few months. I've also enjoyed visiting your blogs - what a talented group you are!

Rest, relax and enjoy the next few days!

Peace,

Cathy

Hi Cathy,
Happy Holidays to you, too! I just finished making truffle brownies, but I had some problems...so I am not sure how they are going to turn out after their hour in the freezer! Oh well! :) I have added you to my blog list! Your work is lovely and we share the same tastes in designers! I have to try and be better this year with stash!! So maybe I won't get anyone else in trouble along with myself! LOL. Enjoy your weekend!!

Cathy: I enjoy visiting your blog! Among your many projects, I think your hardanger is out of this world.

DH & the boys made some round things -- too rich for me -- but they had fun. They took a pkg of oreo cookies and crushed them (yes, guy day in Indiana) -- added a pkg of cream cheese. They rolled them into balls & placed them on waxed paper. Microwave milk chocolate & white chocolate (the baking squares) and then rolled the balls into the melted chocolate. Honestly, they had so much fun doing it ; )
