Well, it is now Saturday morning and the sky is blue and the sun is shining brightly - go figure! Doesn't matter - I had a lovely and productive evening!
This UFO was started like two years ago. You saw it last when I finished the stitching on it. Last night I added the beads and the star button. This is Wee Santa '97 from HIH.
Then, some of you may recall that early this year I completed the needlecase from Cindy Valentine called Apricot Elegance (only mine is done in mint green!) The stitching has been done for months, but I couldn't get myself to make the cording to finish it off. Yes, I finally tackled that cording last night and here's the finished product:
Will there be more updates this weekend? Watch and see!

Oh, what a busy bee you've been! Your Apricot Elegance case is stunning - you really outdid yourself on this one!
Glad to hear you're enjoying a nice weekend so far!
What a beautiful finish. I love the green. We also cancelled plans because of 80% chance of rain...haven't seen a drop yet! Oh, well, more time home stitching.
Great finishes!! Have a great weekend!
Oh, Cathy, your Apricot -or rather, Mint- Elegance case turned out just stunning. Congratulations!
What wonderful piece...Can't wait to see more:)

It turned out beautifully, Cathy! So tell me, overall, was this a difficult one to stitch and finish? I've been thinking of buying the chart for myself one day, so I was curious as to how you found it. :)
very inspiring finishing, as always Cathy :)
Your 'mint green' elegance is so beautiful, its a wonderful finish. Well done.
Wow, Cathy! Congrats on putting the finishing touches on AE. What a treasure for your stitching basket!!
Sorry that it seems your camping trip was cancelled for nothing. Perhaps another weekend will work out.

As the recipient of this beautiful scissor fob, all I can say is WOW! And thanks. I will treasure it as I treasure our friendship! Jan
