A few stitchers were still stitching...that's okay!
We had the matboard and batting ready, and each stitcher worked on mounting their piece, taking care to mitre the corners and then lace the backs.
We then mounted our pieces on the wooden hornbook and finished them off with coordinating cording.
A few of the stitchers who didn't finish on Tuesday night, were able to finish their hornbooks at Stitchville where some of us were gathered on Saturday morning.
Here are the nine finished hornbooks (the green one still needs its cording). We have a few more that we will be finishing at next month's guild meeting.
We all really enjoyed this project. Thank you Ellen Chester!

How much fun to see all the hornbooks in such a wide variety of colors.
It sounds like your assembly workshop was a big success.
