My Blog is Sick

I’m not sure how many stitchers out there frequent this blog anymore.  If you are a regular reader, you’ve noticed that there haven’t been many posts lately to this here blog. Life has been busy for sure, but I’ve run into a snag with Blogpress.  It’s not cooperating with me.  When trying to publish a post, it returns an error message stating that my “Blogger authentication is expired”.  Has anyone out there in blogland ever encounteed this message besides me?

I’d like to keep this here blog going, but until I can figure this out, this blog is in an unconscious state in the ICU on the verge of death.

Fellow bloggers, if you have any tips for me would you please leave a comment or shoot me an email?  Thank you!

P.S. I’m posting this message with Blogger.  Easy to post text with Blogger, not easy to post photos.  Not a good long term solution to the problem.

I am sorry your blog is sick. I have heard others (Faye of Carolina Stitcher has mentioned it on her blog) say they have been having issues. Hope you are able to figure out a cure.

I am still an avid reader but alas have no clue about posting. I do know several other blogs have had some issues including Faye Riggsbee at Carolina Stitcher who seems to have found a solution. Might check with her. (Paracletedesigns@gmail.com as I am supposedly a no-reply blogger but my profile says otherwise - another blogger issue).

Please keep blogging! I love your blog! Am not sure why you're having trouble with photos on blogger, as I have not experienced that. Once I started using my cell phone as my primary camera, I set it up so that photos would immediately download to googlephotos. I use my laptop to blog, the photos are readily available. It has made things so much easier and reduced the number of steps necessary to blog. Don't know if this helps ... but hope you find a solution soon! Hugs to you and your mom!

Sorry to hear you're having blogging trouble! I use Blogger for my posts and then just drag and drop the pictures in from the folder on my hard drive - so incredibly easy. And to think that I spent years uploading pictures to photobucket then writing the html code to put them into my posts - ugh!

I use the Blogger app on my iPad and have had no problems posting pictures. I take all pictures on my iPad and upload them onto Blogger straight from my iPad. Of course, I'm way behind updating the iOS! Hope a solution can be found. Technology is great but can be a pain trying to fix something.

I use Blogger and although posting photos is a bit cumbersome, it still works for me.

I wish I could help but I am pretty computer illiterate. I hope you get it fixed or go to a new venue because I enjoy your blog, especially the travel photos. Mary@stitchingfriendsforever

I also have been using blogger the past eight months with no problems at all. And my photos right out of my folder post no problems. I wish I could be of more help. Hope you find a solution. RJ@stitchingfriendsforever

I have no problems with blogging here at all, so, unfortunately, I cannot help you. But anyway, I'm here, reading you

I'm here also, Cathy, checking in and reading...I haven't had any problems with blogger...though that may be my kiss of blog death lol. Hoping that you can figure out what is going on, and that your blog is up and behaving very soon.
Hugs

I do read your blog Cathy - I hope you will continue it. I use blogger and I agree it's horrible for trying to post photos. I don't know anything about Blog press. I hope you get things worked out - I saw a photo you posted so I hope it's on the mend. Have a great Christmas ! Mel

I would like to say that I am not having any problems with my blog but it has been so long since I posted that I don't know for sure. Ha! Hope you are able to get things sorted. I have missed seeing what you are stitching :)
