Fraktur Freida is finally finished! (Say that five times really fast!) I started this not long ago and expected to finish it last weekend. Why is it that as experienced stitchers we always think we can get more stitching done than is physically possible? I worked on her through the week and she is now finished.
Fraktur Freida by La D Da
The pictures are dark, but this actually represents the linen quite well. The design is stitched on Weeks Havana linen. This was a kit from one of the Silver Needle clubs.
Little Lizzie had a play date today with my daughter’s dog, Nala. Nala is just over a year old. Looks like Lizzie is catching up to her!

Beautiful piece. La d Da’s Fraktur Flowers has been on my wish list for awhile. I’ve not seen Freida before. Yes, when we look at our stitching goal, our eyes are bigger than our needle-holding hands. I don’t know how many times I have looked at a pattern and thought, “Oh, I’ll be able to finish that in no time”.......only to find myself eating those words later.
That's a design I would love to stitch!
Super cute!
Nala and Lizzie are adorable; so precious! Well done on getting Fraktur Freida finished!
I love your embroidery!
The dogs looks very friendly.
Oh I do love those gorgeous colors! Very pretty! And the pups are pretty cute too :)
Lovely stitching and very cute dogs!
Yes, I always think I can stitch much more and faster than I really do. It is the stitcher's way
Love the color of the threads on that linen....and your initial just pops.
Beautiful! It's because the pattern pics are small and we don't read stitch count lok
