...could only stitch one more sampler in your lifetime, which one would you stitch? It's so difficult to choose, but I think this is the one I would stitch:
Wow. I have to think on that one. Way too hard to choose. ATS is a good choice. I'm really loving stitching Rachel Howells. But for one last one? Hmmmmmm. I'm just not sure. Scarlet Letter's Tablet Sampler? That would be among the choices anyway.
Have this one in my stash and yes I do want to stitch it, this one and Dutch Beauty - why? I think because I've seen them so many times on other peoples blogs and I still think they are pretty after all these years.
Had I not already done ATS, that would be my choice but gosh, I don't know what it would be now. If I only got one more, it would have to be a doozy. Hmmm... something really great to think about.
I'm not big into samplers, but if I had to pick one, it would not be a traditional sampler. I would pick the Francis Cheney whitework sampler, available from The Essamplaire. It's all white work and very intricate cutwork. I need to move it up on my to do list.
If I had time for two, ATS would probably be the more traditional sampler I would stitch.
With either one, I'd be stitching quite a long time.

And if you could live until this one was completed, you'd be around a looooong time! :)
I too have loved this one ever since I first saw it. I bought and started it back in 2002 and sadly it languishes in my UFO pile. I started at the bottom and have completed the section with the grass. One day............

That is an amazing sampler. I have a few that I love. Right now I have one in mind for my new little Granddaughter who will be born in June. Right now that would be my choice.

I would love to stitch this one as well and have been contemplating buying the pattern and fabric for a while now, have yet to cave in.

There is no way I could pick just one sampler!
My goodness. I can't make a decision on which one to stitch next week let alone pick that one in a lifetime. Too many beautiful pieces that I love!!

I am currently in the process of stitching this one, and she is a beauty.
I love my Dutch Beauty and knowing it took over 2years makes me think will I ever stitch another piece that big?

Cathy, this would be my choice too...plus think about it, since it is so large and takes so long it will lengthen your lifetime!!!!
It is in my stash but who knows when I will start it...sooner than later I hope.

Talk about the ultimate project! I've wanted to stitch ATS for several years but just can't seem to make the commitment.

That's a nice one.
I think I would love to stitch True Wisdom by Examplar Dames.

That is a tough question.
But I think I'd go with Dutch Beauty or And They Sinned.
I love them both.
Yes, it's funny since I just purchased the pattern about one hour ago after thinking about it for over 6 months...
It might be Rachel Bacheler (sp). Since I'm already stitching Susan Singleton, she doesn't count. That's a hard question thouh.
